A friendly reminder that the $3,500 Apple’s Vision Pro headphones It’s really not that far away.
The ambitious (and expensive) device, set to launch in early 2024, already has a software beta active for people to see. Here’s how a couple of onboarding videos appeared on X this week, courtesy of the user. @M1Astra. In the videos, you can get a basic idea of how Apple will train new users to use Vision Pro whenever it gets into people’s hands.

After that, there’s a slightly more interesting video on how to create your “Persona,” or the digital representation of yourself that other people will see while interacting with you. Setting it up seems to only take a few seconds and appears to be quite similar to setting up Face Unlock on any smartphone. Look left, look right, etc.

It’s pretty elementary stuff, but it’s at least interesting to see what everyone will see when they buy Visio Pro next year. Or, at least, everyone with $3,499 to spare.
