Did the Biden Administration learn anything from massive fraud in pandemic spending programs? Apparently, judging by a new Government Accountability Office report that found the Department of Education failed to implement basic controls to prevent fraud in its student loan forgiveness plan.
The Supreme Court overturned the Administration’s $430 billion in debt forgiveness in June, but the GAO review is relevant as the Department of Education is writing off hundreds of billions of dollars in student loans through the back door. .
