Michael Calore: I’m going to go watch a bunch of shorts and see what they do for me and I’ll let you know.

Lauren Goode: His and hers?

Michael Calore: Yes, for him and for her.

Lauren Goode: Alright, let’s take another short break and then we’ll be back with our recommendations.

Lauren Goode: Amanda, what is your recommendation?

Amanda Hoover: So, another product I first saw on TikTok Shop, while we’re talking about topics, got me thinking. It’s like this cap that you put over your face. You keep it in the freezer. That’s why it’s advertised as a hangover remedy. It’s also great for headaches, and immediately cools your head, helps with any pressure, tension, whatever. And it’s called HungovrAF, it’s one of their main brands, but I think there are a couple more, but that was the one I saw for the first time.

Lauren Goode: What a great brand.

Michael Calore: So you keep it in the freezer?

Amanda Hoover: Yes. You have to store it in the freezer. If you wake up hungover, it won’t be ready in time. You have to do some preparation.

Lauren Goode: Does it really cover your face?

Amanda Hoover: Yes. Cover your eyes. It’s like a soft cap.

Lauren Goode: Wow. I could see how that would be great for migraines.

Michael Calore: Amanda, have you considered not drinking?

Amanda Hoover: In fact, I had a friend who loved this too. He always talked about having headaches, and I had had a cold roller, like a skin roller, and I lent it to him one time and he had a really bad hangover. And then I saw this and I thought, “This is going to totally change the game.”

Lauren Goode: Don’t be a nag, Michael. He is 30 years old and lives in New York City. Well then.

Amanda Hoover: At thirty is when you start to get hungover sooner than expected.

Michael Calore: Just wait, just wait. A bottle opens on the other side of the room and I immediately start to feel terrible.

Lauren Goode: Every time Mike goes to CES, he says, “Oh, good luck.” You go for five days, six days, and he’s like the first five: bitters and soda.

Michael Calore: That’s how it is. I don’t drink at CES until the last night. That’s my move.

Lauren Goode: That’s a good method.

Michael Calore: People ask me for Las Vegas recommendations. I say, “Don’t drink until you go home.”

Lauren Goode: Good. You could sleep on a plane back home. Thanks for that, Amanda. I hope to link to it in the show notes because we’re going to become our own little shopping platform. Did you also know that you can buy WIRED products?

Michael Calore: We are going to recommend this.

Lauren Goode: We have to promote merchandising.
