Jodie Foster criticizes Generation Z: they are annoying at work| Trending Viral hub

jodie foster took a humorous swipe at Generation Z during a recent interview with The Guardian, saying that they are especially annoying to work with. Generation Z, the generation that directly precedes millennials, includes those born after 1996 and up to 2010.

“They’re really annoying, especially in the workplace,” Foster told the publication. “They say, ‘No, I’m not sorry today, I’ll be there at 10:30 a.m.’ Or, for example, in emails I tell them that this is all grammatically incorrect, didn’t you check your spelling? And they say to me: ‘Why would I do that? Isn’t that something limiting?’”

This does not mean that Foster feels above Generation Z. Quite the opposite, since the Oscar winner has set out to reach the young actors who are emerging in the industry. Foster herself began her acting career as a child. She recently made an effort to contact Emmy nominee for “The Last of Us,” Bella Ramsey, and asked the young performer to introduce her at an event in Hollywood.

“They need to learn to relax, to not think about it so much, to come up with something that’s their own,” Foster added when asked about her advice for young actors these days. “I can help them find that, which is much more fun than being, with all the pressure behind it, the protagonist of the story.”

Foster has been in the press for months as an Oscar contender for her supporting role in the Netflix swimming drama “Nyad.” She also leads the fourth season of HBO’s “True Detective,” which premieres Jan. 14. interview with Elle magazine Late last year, Foster went viral for expressing her criticism of superhero movies.

“It’s a phase. It’s a phase that’s gone on too long for me, but it’s a phase and I’ve seen a lot of different phases,” Foster said. “I hope people get tired soon. The good ones, like ‘Iron Man’, ‘Black Panther’, ‘The Matrix’, amaze me and I get carried away by their entertainment, but that’s not why I became an actor. And those movies don’t change my life. Hopefully there is room for everything else.”

Foster’s performance in “Nyad” earned her a Golden Globe Award and a Critic’s Choice Award nomination for Supporting Actress.
