NASA Marshall invites the media to meet the center’s new director| Trending Viral hub

NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center will host a press day at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, in the first-floor lobby of Building 4221 at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, to introduce the Center’s new Director, Joseph Pelfrey. . The media is invited to meet and speak with Pelfrey about his role.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson named Pelfrey director of Marshall on February 5. Pelfrey had served as acting director of the center since July 2023. Appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 2016, Pelfrey served as associate director of operations in Engineering, later becoming deputy director and later manager of the Office of Operations and Development of Marshall Human Exploration. He was named assistant director of the Marshall center in April 2022.
