Notic Streetball Doc ‘Handle With Care’ Gets Trailer and Release Date | Trending Viral hub


Handle with Care: The Legend of the Notic Streetball Crew,” a documentary chronicling the rise, fall and rebirth of Canadian streetball collective The Notic, has been acquired by Gravity companieswhich acquired worldwide rights and set a release date for March 26.

Gravitas, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment company, also debuted a new trailer for the film, which was nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards, had its world premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival and won the True North Audience Award and Best BC movie. Grant.

“Handle With Care” follows the rise of Vancouver streetball team The Notic in the early 2000s. While their creative basketball moves brought them worldwide fame as teenagers, they confronted them with the status quo in a battle that involved self-expression, race, and rejection. Fueled by a 20-year quest to finish their trilogy of mixtapes, the documentary shows how the group of friends played outside the confines of the NBA and still left an indelible mark on the game forever.

Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux and Kirk Thomas, the original filmmakers behind Notic’s first two mixtapes, directed the film, which was produced by Ryan Sidhoo along with TELUS Originals, RTG Features and Victory Creative Group. The film features Notic streetball team members Joey “King Handles” Haywood, Rory “Disaster” Grace, Jonathan “Johnny Blaze” Mubanda, Jermaine “Fresh” Foster, Andrew “6 Fingaz” Liew, David “Dazzle” Mubanda , Dauphin “Delight” Ngongo, Jamal “Where are you?” Parker and Mohammed “Goosebumps” Wenn.

The rights deal was negotiated by Guentzler of Gravitas Ventures and Aron Phillips of RTG Features on behalf of the filmmakers.
