“I was really affected by all those who put so much heart, tears and sweat into this project,” he continued. “It’s hard to imagine anything being demolished to that extent. “I’m proud to have been a part of this, and if there are no more ‘Rebel Moon’, it will be a very important part of my life that I will defend forever.”

“Rebel Moon” began as a “Star Wars” pitch that Snyder originally offered to Lucasfilm. Variety Film critic Owen Gleiberman called the film “incredibly derivative” in your review, saying that it “mimics ‘Star Wars’ and a dozen other sources…it’s a movie constructed so entirely from spare parts that, in the end, it may be only for Snyder cultists.” While Netflix will release “Part Two” later this year, it has not yet announced the release dates for Snyder’s planned director’s cuts for each installment.
