UPDATE: November 13, 2023, 2:30 pm EST This post has been updated with the best from the beginning. black Friday Roomba deals including deals on multiple 2023 releases.
A quick look at the best early Black Friday Roomba deals

Roombas tend to be a little more expensive than robot vacuums from brands like Shark or Roborock, making them a great deal on black Friday. But 2023 is a particularly exciting year for Black Friday Roomba deals. That is because iRobot launched five new Roombas in September 2023filling several blind spots in the Roomba line, such as economical mopping options and economical options for avoiding small obstacles.
Not only is it the best time of the Black Friday season to pick up one of those more affordable new Roombas for an even lower price than when it launched, but it’s also your chance to pick up one of the most expensive new Roombas at a price more digestible.
For example, we saw the iRobot Roomba Combo j9+ (the fancier Roomba that we weren’t expecting to get any discounts on) drop from a whopping $400 to $999 last week. However, that deal is now gone, so unless you want to wait until the actual Black Friday in the hope that a discount will return, we suggest making your move if you see a deal you like.
Below, we’re tracking all the Roomba deals live ahead of Black Friday, organized by whether or not they come with a self-emptying base. If you need more guidance comparing Roomba models, we have a guide. Here’s a quick rule of thumb: a plus sign indicates automatic emptying and “combo” in the title indicates mopping capabilities.
Are you open to a robot vacuum other than a Roomba? Plenty of models from Shark, Roborock, and more are also on sale ahead of Black Friday, and we are also tracking them.
Best Standalone Roomba Deal
Because we like it
The Combo i5 is the cheapest mopping Roomba and uses iRobot’s new Swap and Mop design, which means you need to manually click on a separate water tank to let the i5 know it’s time to wet clean. The i5 (as well as the i3 and i4) can also be sent to specific rooms in your home thanks to a software update that brought Imprint Smart Mapping technology to budget Roombas.

The best self-emptying Roomba offer
Because we like it
The Roomba j6+ is another winner of the “cheapest” title – this time, it’s the cheapest Roomba that can detect and avoid phone chargers and pet droppings. Compared to the Roomba j7+, the j6+’s obstacle-sensing cameras aren’t as accurate and may still require you to pick up things like towels or socks, or place a virtual barrier around pet bowls. But in order to avoid scraping the floor for stubborn cords and enjoy automatic emptying for under $400, you can probably make sure your dirty clothes make it to the basket.
