‘Turtles All The Way Down’ trailer: John Green’s work returns to the screen | Trending Viral hub


Author John Green’s books have frequently made their way onto the screen, from The Fault in Our Stars to Paper cities to Looking for Alaska. Next up is an adaptation of his 2017 novel. Turtles to the bottomwhich premieres on May 2 on Max.

Directed by Hannah Marks and starring Isabela Merced (lady web), Turtles to the bottom It centers on high school student Aza (Merced), who struggles with a constant stream of anxious and obsessive thoughts. As seen in the trailer, these thoughts include worries about the large number of bacteria living inside us and whether others perceive her as “crazy.” But when Aza reunites with her childhood crush, Davis (Felix Mallard, Ginny and Georgia), will embark on a journey that will lead her to reconsider her potential for love, friendship and happiness.

Turtles to the bottom arrives at Max on May 2.
