Throughout his decades-long career, Usher has cultivated and worked with some big names in pop and R&B. Some of his biggest hits have been collaborations with artists like Ludacris and Lil Jon (“Yeah”), Alicia Keys (“My Boo”) and Pitbull (“DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love”). Lil Jon, the man famous for making the word “yes” multiple syllables, began his cameo with “Reject for What.” And then…
“Peace above, city A below.” It’s not a nostalgia fest without the millennial holiday anthem, and Usher delivered the goods. As anticipated, Ludacris and Lil Jon joined Usher for a hit performance of “Yeah” and brought the house down.
Who didn’t Usher bring?
Unfortunately, neither Bieber nor Pitbull. But we got some surprises that we didn’t even expect. That’s why we love the halftime show.
