The latest Apple Watch SE, like its predecessor, strips away many of the features of higher-end models and offers only the essentials. It still includes support for WatchOS 9, including the new sleep and workout tracking features that arrived with the latest operating system update.
The second-generation Apple Watch SE is also cheaper than the previous model, starting at $249 for GPS only, and models with cellular capabilities sell for $299. In the past, we’ve seen the base model reach as low as $200, so keep that in mind when considering current prices. There are currently some decent deals on the Apple Watch SE on Amazon, including the midnight color variant of the 40mm model for just $199, saving you $50 compared to the Apple Store Price.
Order your Apple Watch SE 2022 directly from Apple starting at $249. You’ll also get three months of Apple Fitness Plus with your purchase. If you have an older Apple Watch to trade in, you could get up to $425 off your Apple Watch SE purchase, although it will cost you between $80 and $110 if you trade in the previous-generation SE. or something like an Apple Watch Series 5 or Series 6. Don’t forget to use your Apple Card to also get 3% cash back.
Best Buy is offering a $50 discount on most SE models, which isn’t much, but you can save some money if you have an older smartwatch to trade in. More advanced models will give you up to $90 in trade-in. credit. You’ll also get four free months of Apple Fitness Plus with purchase, which is one month more than what Apple offers to new Apple Watch owners.
Target is offering $50 off the price of the SE 2, although not all sizes and colors are available, so you’ll have to check to see if the one you want is in stock. Also, Target red card Holders can get a 5% discount on the current-gen SE, which works out to up to $12.50 off the base model, along with three free months of Apple Fitness Plus if you haven’t tried the service yet.
Verizon isn’t offering any direct discounts right now, but if you trade in your old device, you can shave $180 off the cost of your new Apple Watch SE. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to have a service plan for this device to get the deal.
Buy an Apple Watch SE from AT&T? You can trade in your old phone, tablet, or portable device to earn credits on your bill. The values will depend on what you are exchanging and the state you are in. Although it’s also worth noting that AT&T has pretty limited configurations to choose from right now. Plus, if you choose to buy two Apple Watches and add a new line, you can get $300 in bill credits over 36 months.
