Samsung TV deals
Why we love it
Of the handful of 85-inch Samsung QLED 2022 and 2023 TVs on sale right now, we think the deal on the extra-large Q80C at over $1,000 off is the best bang for your buck.
The Q80C is Samsung’s most advanced QLED (before meeting the Neo QLED side of the family), and features 96 precisely illuminated local dimming zones to achieve the meticulous brightness needed for daylight sports viewing. Advanced gaming features like a 120Hz refresh rate and VRR support are also present.

LG TV deals
Why we love it
This 2021 QNED 65-inch TV is one of the few LG TVs that still has its holiday sale price, and the current discount happens to be an impressive 40% off. QNED is a combination of LG’s NanoCell technology and quantum dots (which amplify color depth using an additional nanoparticle light filter) and mini LED backlighting (like regular LEDs, but smaller for greater precision).
The LG QNED 99 series is also 8K instead of 4K. That doubled resolution still isn’t necessary for most streaming content available right now, but this big, ultra-bright TV is priced so well that most similarly sized LG 4K models won’t be any cheaper.

Sony TV deals
Why we love it
Several Sony TVs that were on sale last week are a few hundred dollars cheaper this week (it’s not because new TVs were released at CES, however, as this is the second year in a row that Sony didn’t launch any new TVs at CES). . However, the model highlighted here still has the best discount, even though we have been seeing it for weeks.
Crushable Offers
Of Sony’s 2023 TV lineup, the X90L is the most premium regular LED model before the lineup switches to mini-LED. Still, the X90L features full backlighting with local dimming that offers more precise brightness across the entire screen than a cheaper edge-lit LED TV. (That’s particularly useful when the screen is so big.) With better than basic lighting, plus a high contrast ratio, low input lag, and VRR support, this 85-inch X90L is a great budget big-screen gaming TV.

Why we love it
TCL’s Q5 series came out in late summer 2023 and unseated the Q6 series from its spot as the brand’s most affordable QLED. And with Best Buy’s discount bringing this model to under $300, it’s easily the cheapest 55-inch QLED on our list.
A quick scroll to our mid-size QLED picks from Samsung, Sony, and LG makes the rarity of a 55-inch QLED TV for under $300 palpable. The Q5 has most of the same specs as the Q6, including HDR PRO+ with Dolby Vision, Motion Rate 240 motion smoothing technology (a plus for gamers on a budget), three HDMI ports, and built-in Google Assistant.
