Of all the pregnancy pillows I tried, my favorite was the Frida Mom Keep-Cool Adjustable Pregnancy Pillow. This lightweight cylinder-shaped pillow is filled with microbeads to allow for proper airflow and keep you cool. It’s also fully adjustable and can be molded into a U, C, L, or I shape. Because it’s moldable, it’s also less of a nuisance if you’re bed-sharing, compared to a full-body pregnancy pillow.
If you don’t like a gentler option, this may not be right for you. I found this pillow best suited me and my needs for most of my pregnancy, but it may be better suited during the second trimester as your belly grows and you need some support when sleeping on your side.
I liked that this pillow wasn’t too big and that you could easily maneuver it as you changed sleeping positions throughout the night. I also appreciated that the pillow didn’t overheat and stayed comfortably cool throughout the night. I even caught my husband napping on it once, so if you usually sleep on your side, you might enjoy this pillow too.
