Jill Duggar He admitted that he has not seen his father Jim Bob Duggar in a long time during an appearance in The Unplanned Podcast on Wednesday, January 10. The former TLC star explained that she hadn’t seen her father since before the release of her book. Jill explained that they saw him at “some kind of family event,” but she wasn’t sure if it was a wedding, birthday party, or something similar. She noted that while the book was written, it was before its publication. “That was before the book,” she said. “That was since we had our last baby.”
Since the book came out, Jill said she had talked to her parents, but did not address the topic of the book. “I didn’t sit down and talk and say, ‘What do you think of the book?’” she explained. “I heard they did (read the book). I heard they listened to it on audiobook or something.”
Jill also explained that figuring out how to work through issues with her parents is something she and her husband are still trying to figure out. “They are my parents and I am going to act carefully. I do not want too create more controversy. It’s like when you get together during the holidays and there are certain things you just don’t want to mention. Is It’s probably a sensitive topic. “I know they would probably want to sit down with a therapist or something and discuss it, but we’ve tried it before and it’s just not the healthiest way to do it,” she said. “We’re still on the path to figuring things out.”
In the book, Jill claimed that her father would criticize her decision to wear pants or get a nose ring. She also claimed that her father had threatened her with “significant” lower your inheritance if he was still fighting for his contract regarding the TLC program.
