Sharon Stone said in the last episode of “The Louis Theroux Podcast” that producer Robert Evans advised her to have sex with her co-star Billy Baldwin to save her film, “Sliver.” Director Phillip Noyce’s 1993 thriller starred Stone as a book editor who moves into an exclusive New York City apartment building and discovers its residents are hiding dark secrets. Evans supposedly wanted Stone and Baldwin to have better “on-screen chemistry” because that would “save the movie.”

“He’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and that I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would improve,” Stone recalled of a meeting with Evans. “And we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem. “If I could sleep with Billy then we would have chemistry on screen, and if I just had sex with him, that would save the movie.”

“The real problem in the movie was me, because I was so uptight and I wasn’t like a real actress who could just fuck him and get things back on track,” Stone continued of Evans’ alleged point of view. “The real problem was that I was a very tight ass.”

Variety Billy Baldwin’s rep has been contacted for comment. The actor published in X (formerly Twitter) reacted to Stone’s appearance on the podcast, writing: “Not sure why Sharon Stone is still talking about me all these years later? Is she still in love with me or is she still hurt after all these years because I rejected her advances?…I have so much dirt on her it would make your head spin, but I have kept quiet.”

Stone was coming off the box office success of “Basic Instinct” at the time and recalled, “I didn’t have to fuck Michael Douglas. Michael could come to work and know how to hit those marks, do that line, rehearse and perform. Now all of a sudden I’m in the ‘I have to fuck people’ business.”

Evans died in 2019 at age 89. “Sliver” was a decent box office hit with $116 million at the worldwide box office. Evans made a name for himself during the New Hollywood era as head of Paramount Pictures from 1967 to 1974. He was a producer of such iconic films as “Rosemary’s Baby” (1968), “Love Story” (1970) and “The Godfather.” (1972).

Stone first wrote about the “Sliver” incident in his 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice,” although he did not name Evans at the time.

“Now you think if I fuck him he will become a good actor? “No one is that good in bed,” Stone wrote in the book. “I felt like they could have hired a talented co-star, someone who could act out a scene and remember his lines. I also felt like they could fuck them themselves and leave me out of it. My job was to act and I said it. This was not a popular response. “They considered me difficult.”

Last year on Kelly Ripa Podcast “Let’s talk off camera”Stone revealed that she was sexually harassed by a former Sony executive who allegedly exposed his penis to her when she went to his office for a general meeting in the 1980s.

“I went to his office and it was, you know, back in the ’80s, so the couch was basically on the floor, you know?” Stone told Ripa. “They were these giant couches really low and my knees were around my neck and of course I’m really tall anyway so I look like I’m all legs akimbo on the couch, and he’s pacing around the office and he’s doing the same. exactly the same”.

Stone said the Sony boss told her: “Oh, it’s true what they say about you and you’re the most beautiful. We haven’t seen anyone like you in decades. Everyone talks about you and looks at you. You are the most eloquent. “You are so smart and beautiful and that hair.”

“Then he came walking right in front of me and said, ‘But first…’ and he stuck his penis out in my face,” Stone added. “Of course, I was very young and what I do when I’m nervous, because I’m basically a very happy person,” I started laughing. I started laughing and crying at the same time and I couldn’t stop because I got hysterical. I couldn’t stop, so he didn’t know what to do. So, of course, he put it away and went through this door behind his desk, which I thought was that he was gone, so I didn’t know what to do. I was sitting there hysterical and finally “Your secretary came and took me out, right? This wasn’t the last of many strange experiences like this in my career.”

Stone said in the “The Louis Theroux Podcast” who has often had to deal with abusive men in power, including “pig” Harvey Weinstein.

“He certainly felt comfortable throwing me across the room when he was mad at me because I wouldn’t do what he wanted me to do,” Stone said, adding that she was happy that Weinstein is now in prison as a convicted rapist.
