State-run NHAI has signed an agreement with HLL Life Care Ltd to strengthen incident management systems and help victims of accidents on national highways, an official statement said on Friday.
The MoU will help NHAI strengthen its existing incident management system, which includes ambulances, route patrol vans and tow trucks, real-time monitoring and supporting supervision, the statement said.
This will improve response time and facilitate the referral of accident victims to the nearest health centres, establishing a seamless process for incident management, he added.
The pact will include the operation and management of trauma centers/emergency stabilization centers to maximize attendance during the golden hour and improve health outcomes.
Additionally, HLL Lifecare Limited will provide comprehensive geotagging, mapping and engagement services of health facilities and trauma centers on national highways to enhance emergency medical response by linking health facilities with ambulances.
HLLLifecare Limited will also create an investment plan in trauma centers along national highways.
This agreement will remain in force for a period of five years, he added.
